Discover the retro world of the 1970s in Szentendre at the Retro Design Centre. Experience an interactive journey through time to the 1970s and 1980s featuring 27 vehicles including a pink convertible car, Rallye Moskwitch, Hippie Barkas van, Trabant, Zhiguli and the iconic Ikarus Bus. This collection also includes motorbikes and bicycles from behind the Iron Curtain. There will be a model village market, campsite scenes recreated for you to explore; there will even be a hippy chick ready to greet our guests inside one period house. In addition this unique venue features rooms dedicated entirely to classic childhood games or everyday domestic items such as televisions, cassette players, radio sets – all surrounded by vinyl records dating back to the seventies! And that's not all - don't miss out on seeing vintage cycles, moped scooters plus a futuristic themed display area too. All information provided within these exhibits comes complete with translations available in three languages namely English, German & Russian so everyone can enjoy their visit regardless of language barriers they may face while exploring each section individually according to personal interest rates during opening hours which run daily except Mondays between ten am until six pm local time zone throughout summer season only when open year round otherwise closed off seasonally due safety reasons hence please check official website prior visiting if planning outside peak times/seasons just ensure safe travels ahead!

During this short but intense tour through Budapest’s Great Market Hall (lasting around 80 minutes), you can get acquainted with every important element of Hungarian gastronomy while trying out numerous treats on offer at the market hall: salami, sausages, ham, various types of cheese and paprika, pickled vegetables, honey, marmalade, fruit juice, and naturally, the famous Unicum herbal liqueur are all included on our tasting menu for this guided experience. In addition, a comprehensive wine list will introduce you to Hungary’s native wine regions, renowned vintners, and indigenous grape varieties. As a little extra bonus, I provide you with a digital restaurant guide featuring 12 pages of local recommendations—ranging from street food to fine dining experiences. If you prefer not to join us during one of the fixed times (Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 10 am) or wish to have a completely private experience without other guests present, choose the private version instead.
