Humpback Whale watching on the Northern Hemisphere.

The Punta Uvita Beach Tour offers an enriching experience that spans about three hours and is available in two time slots: from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. This tour explores the stunning beaches of the Marino Ballena National Park, visiting points of interest such as the Ventanas Caves, accessible by boat, and the mouth of the Río Grande de Térraba, known as Boca Coronado. A highlight of the tour is the opportunity to spot cetaceans, including the humpback whale and various dolphin species, especially during their migration seasons. Additionally, participants can enjoy snorkeling at two significant coral reefs in the park: La Isla or Piedra Ballena and the Tómbolo in Punta Uvita, where they can witness the diverse marine life that thrives in these ecosystems. Main points: Participants of our tour are provided with ample time to observe the cetaceans, document them, and capture photos at their own pace, considering this is a key highlight of the combined tour. To conduct snorkeling and visit either Arco or Piñuelas beaches, the weather and tide conditions during the tour will be assessed. If conditions permit, the activities will be supervised by our guides, who will assess daily conditions to ensure the safety and protection of all clients. INCLUDES: Bilingual Tour Guide (Spanish-English) Safety gear (life vests and medical supplies) Snorkeling gear (this is dependent on the tide). Snack (water and fruit) Coffee station Ticket
