From there, your journey through time begins: you’ll learn about the history of Pompeii and its dramatic eruption in 79 A.D., while stepping back onto the streets, piazzas, and structures of this ancient Roman town. Using these enhanced-reality goggles, explore the vastness of the archeological area covering over 44 hectares like an actual citizen of Ancient Rome! You'll see reconstructions that are historically accurate down to every detail - including visits to theatres, temples, noble homes called "domus," bakeries, and various communal areas. Please arrive at the designated location no less than fifteen minutes prior to the planned start time. This guided excursion takes place rain or shine, therefore we recommend dressing accordingly and wearing comfortable clothing. Your personal assistant/guide will remain by your side throughout the two hour long adventure after which they will escort everyone back to their original spot where any borrowed equipment such as VR headsets must also be surrendered.
