Portofino Boat Tour: Option 2) Full Day (Round Trip) (boarding at 10.30 am, flexible return time between 4.30 pm/5.00 pm/6.00 pm) - Boarding at 10.30 am in Santa Margherita - Coastal navigation westward, visiting Castello di Paraggi, Baia Di Paraggi, Villa Piaggio; brief stop for an aperitif in Baia Cannone, then on to Baia di Portofino where you can take a short walk around the marina (optional shopping stop), followed by stops at Baia Olivetta, Villa Pirelli, Dolce & Gabbana villas, Portofino lighthouse, Openamien castle, and Villa Alta Chiara. At 11.45 am continue navigating through the Portofino Marine Protected Area, stopping briefly at the Abbey of San Fruttuoso. For those who are adventurous there's also the opportunity to snorkel near the statue of The Christ of the Abyss. You may choose to get off here either to explore further or simply enjoy some free time before returning back to your boat. Lunch options include dining at the famous Ristorante Giorgio located within walking distance of the abbey or another location chosen during discussions prior to departure. After lunch depart again heading toward Punta Chiappa and San Rocco passing close to Villa del Generale until arriving in Camogli, one of Italy’s most picturesque fishing villages dating back centuries. Here passengers have about forty minutes ashore while listening to fascinating stories told by their guides – they might opt for a self-guided exploration or join us for a group stroll throughout this charming old port city. We conclude our day sailing past Recco making sure everyone gets treated to delicious freshly made crisp cheese focaccia served directly onto plates onboard!
