Vietnamese Homestyle Cooking Class

Taking the concept "Homestyle" into this cooking class with the desire is to bring our guests the feeling as well as the atmosphere of being warmly welcomed in a Vietnamese local friend’s house, learning, experiencing, and enjoying typically Vietnamese dishes. We will be making 2–3 dishes from scratch. Below are just a few examples; however, feel free to ask when booking for any other dish that takes your fancy! Also, should anyone have dietary restrictions (gluten-free diet, veganism etc.), don’t hesitate to inform me so I may adjust accordingly. Here they are: 1. **Bún thịt nướng / Bún bò Nam Bộ** – stir-fried beef/ grilled chicken/ pork noodle salad 2. **Bánh xèo** – pancake filled with choice of chicken, pork, shrimp 3. **Phở gà** – chicken broth served over thin rice vermicelli noodles 4. **Chả giò** – fried spring roll stuffed with seasoned minced meat (chicken & pork) 5. **Bún cá** – savory fish ball noodle soup 6. **Mì xào bò** – sautéed flat rice noodles tossed with tender strips of marinated steak 7. **Bánh cuốn** – steamed dumpling wrapped in delicate rice paper filling includes crispy fried shallots 8. **Gỏi** – fresh herb salad featuring mango, papaya, pomelo, cabbage leaves dressed lightly with lime dressing 9. **Cơm tấm** – caramelized crust on top layer of sticky jasmine rice topped generously with succulent pieces of slow cooked BBQ pork belly 10. **Cá kho** – braised whole fish simmering gently until soft and flavorful accompanied by slices of pickled vegetables 11. **Thịt kho** – fall apart tender chunks of stewed pork shoulder slowly infused with aromatic spices 12. **Gà sả ớt** – spicy lemongrass flavored roasted chicken breast For those who prefer plant based options here are versions available : Dishes #1,#2 ,#3 ,#4,&#6&#8 .
