Everest Base Camp Trek

The journey to the top of the world begins quite high from the picturesque town of Lukla, following the narrow valley of the Dudhkoshi River. Walking past small villages like Chaurikharka, Ghat, Phakding, Benkar, and Jorsalle on the way to Namche Bazaar gives you a taste of Sherpa hospitality, their unique culture, and the serene environment created by countless prayer walls, chortens (prayer wheels), and Buddhist monasteries. Namche Bazar, being the highest settlement in the area, entices visitors to spend another night here not only for further acclimatization but also for exploring nearby attractions such as the charming village of Khumjung. On our trek toward Base Camp via Tengboche and Pangboche, we are treated to breathtaking views of mighty Mt. Everest alongside several other towering summits while facing increasingly challenging ascents due to higher altitudes. At Dingboche, situated at approximately 4,410m/14,632ft above sea level, hikers need additional time to adjust themselves before continuing upwards to about 5,000m/17,890ft near Lobuche where they will set up temporary camps during nighttime stays.
