Doi Inthanon National Park, known as the "roof of Thailand," features the country's tallest mountain peak. This area has notably colder weather conditions, often dropping close to freezing levels during winter months (December–January). Additionally, we will explore twin pagodas built atop opposite peaks—the King's Pagoda and the Queen's Pagoda. Along our journey, you can experience visiting villages belonging to both the Hmong and Karen hill tribes, gaining insight into their unique cultures and lifestyles that are part of ongoing royal projects.
Established in 1972, Doi Inthanon National Park covers an expansive area of approximately 482 sq km, stretching up to elevations of 2,565m above sea level. As mentioned earlier, this region experiences significantly lower temperatures compared to other areas, especially during winters when mercury dips near freezing points. Our tour includes visits to these iconic landmarks such as the kingly pair of pagodas situated upon contrasting summits. You may enjoy leisurely strolls along natural trails for about ten minutes while marveling at breathtaking views across what truly stands out as 'the pinnacle of all heights.'
