CASIS, Marseille and Aix-en-Provence

Departing from the port of Marseille, discover the highlights of Provence on this 8-hour excursion to Aix-en-Provence and Cassis. With your professional guide, you will visit the old town of Aix-en-Provence and stroll along the Cours Mirabeau, famous for its 17th century architecture. Enjoy a guided walk along the Cours Mirabeau with its rich architecture and charming cafes. Head to Vieux Aix (Old Town) and explore the area. Go to the charming boutiques and craft shops to pick up a unique typical souvenir. Then, take your lunch break (not included) at one of the Brunswick House cafes. Before lunch, you can enjoy an optional visit to the Atelier Paul Cézanne (own expense) and learn more about this post-impressionist painter, born in Aix-en-Provence. Admire some authentic artifacts and see the studio where Cézanne created famous pieces like Les Grandes Baigneuses. After lunch, return to the car and take a short drive to Cassis where you will enjoy the view of the Gulf of Cap Canaille, located in one of the highest maritime points in France.
