Doy Intanon national park or "the Roof of Thailand" has the country's tallest peak; Doiyinthanon can be very cold here especially between December and January when temperature drops close to freezing level. The King and Queen pagoda are located atop opposite hills within this area. On our journey we will pass by several Hmongs and Karens hillside communities where you may learn about these ethnic groups who live according to Royal Project initiatives that aim to preserve local cultures while improving living conditions. Established since 1972 covering an area of approximately 482 sq km., altitude ranges around 2,565m above sea levels. Besides visiting both Kings and Queens pavilions situated upon separate summits along trekking routes visitors could enjoy leisurely walks amidst natural scenery towards Thailands 'highest points'. After having delicious thai meal served near Wachirettan fall ,this stunning cascade tumbles over granitic cliffs en route ascending toward topmost part of Doyinthanon Mountain .Although divided into sections each segment contributes cumulatively making total drop heights reach approx 80meters high.
