Discover the retro world of the '70s in Szentendre at the Retro Design Centre. A journey through time to the ‘70s and ’80s interactively awaits you here among 27 vehicles including a pink convertible car, Rallye Moskwitch, Hippie Barkas van, Trabant, Zhiguli or even the iconic Ikarus buses. This collection also includes motorbikes and bicycles made behind the Iron Curtain. There will be an exhibition about Poland market scenes, campsite atmosphere; there will be a hippy woman welcoming guests inside her house that represents this period. In one room of our Museum you can see original children's playthings while other rooms display domestic electrical devices like TV sets, cassette players, radio receivers - all surrounded by vinyl records dating back to the seventies. You may find vintage cycles on show along with scooters too – not forgetting a Space Age themed exhibit!
